The Midnight Cry

The Lord Jesus is calling His people (the church) to wake up from the slumber they’ve been in.

Matthew 25:5-6

The bridegroom [Jesus] was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep. At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet Him!’

This message I bring to you today is the “midnight cry,” and the Lord Jesus wants you to wake up and come to Him. This is the time to start going to Jesus directly and stop looking to man for teaching and guidance (Church, priest, pastor, minister, etc.), they will not lead you to eternal life with our heavenly Father.  Only Jesus can do this and He is pleading for you to completely turn from your sin, get to know Him and start following Him directly before it’s too late.

1 John 2:26-28

I am writing to you about those who are trying to lead you astray.  As for you, the anointing [The Holy Spirit] you received from Him [Jesus] remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you.  But as His anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in Him.

Does Jesus Speak To You? Do You Hear Jesus? How Do You Know If You Are Hearing Jesus?

You ALL should be asking yourselves these questions (especially Christians) and if you are unsure than I urge you to turn away from your sins and pray for Jesus to reveal Himself to you.  For if you do not than the Lord Jesus will deny ever knowing you.

Matthew 7:23

And then I will declare to them, “I never knew you; depart from me, you who practice lawlessness!”

You need to stop living a sinful life and realize that this IS possible with Jesus, ONLY if you are following Jesus. He is alive and He does speak to His children.

GALATIONS 5:21

I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

You can not and will not do this in your own power and you need to have a relationship with Jesus so that He gives you the Holy Spirit which will help you.

Philippians 4:13

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

John 14:26

“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.”

You WILL NOT enter into the Kingdom of Heaven if you continue to sin and are impure before God

Matthew 5:20

“For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.”

Do not be alarmed because you may fear that it is impossible to stop sinning but I tell you that Jesus will lead the way but only if you abide in Him.

1 John 3:4-10

No one who lives in Him keeps on sinning.  No one who continues to sin has either seen Him or known Him.  Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray.  He who does what is right is righteous, just as He is righteous.  He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning.

Do not believe the lies that are being told in church that it is impossible for you to be sin free and that only by the “grace” of God is it that we are forgiven of our sins. They tell you that we are saved by grace alone and that there is nothing we can do besides just have faith that we are made righteous (even if we sin) because of what Jesus had done for us. This is NOT truth and it is a false doctrine that is deceiving many.  This false doctrine does nothing to change us or to separate us from everyone else who is living in the flesh. Faith alone will not save you…you need to follow Jesus and He will anoint you with the Holy Spirit.

James 2:14 & 24

“What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone.”

Galatians 5:16

So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature.  For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature.

God’s Spirit enables us to act according to God’s principles—to live a godly life! Without God’s Spirit, we are merely mortal flesh, and the fruits of raw human nature are called the “works of the flesh.

Galatians 5:19-21

The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

If you have the Holy Spirit, however, you produce something far different:

Galatians 5:22-23

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering [or patience], kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control”

That is truly good fruit! Holy Spirit-led people have these wonderful virtues of godly character as the result of God’s Spirit acting from within. The credit for this fruit belongs to God and Jesus Christ who supplys that Spirit. If you are not bearing good fruit (through faith AND action) than you are not a true follower of Jesus.  You need to repent and ask Jesus to reveal himself to you, genuinely ask Him to come into your life.  When you do, you WILL hear from Jesus and He will truly direct your life.

Repent and Follow Jesus!

I plead to you, DO NOT buy into the false doctrine from the church of believing we are only saved by God’s grace alone and that once a sinner always a sinner!

Ask yourself who introduced this doctrine to begin with?

It was the theologian Martin Luther and you can tell by the fruits that he bore that he was NOT a true follower of Christ.  He struggled with believing Paul’s warning;

Galatians 5:21

and

James 2:24

because he could not stop sinning.  And this is because he tried to do it in his own strength without asking Jesus into his life. Martin Luther had much anger in his heart and towards the end of his life he became anti-Semitic…this is not one who truly has the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 7:15

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.  You will know them by their fruits.

Do your own research, read the Bible yourself, repent and ask Jesus to show you what’s the truth. Do not rely on the church and don’t go to man for understanding, go to Jesus himself and He will reveal himself to you and the truth. The Lord’s judgment is coming soon and a lot sooner than you think. Just look at the times we are living in and you will recognize the seasons that Jesus spoke of in Matthew 24. We are not guaranteed tomorrow and our time on this world is short, there is no second chances once we leave this world.  Repent and follow Jesus.

May the grace of God be with you!
